CME with Dr.Wasim Hanif, Birmingham, UK July 27, 2013

Dr. Jothydev Kesavadev lectured on 'Artificial Pancreas System: how close are we?' at the Jothydev's Professional Education Forum CME at Vivanta by Taj, Vazhutacaud, Trivandrum on 27 July 2013. The most updated research findings on closing the loop were elaborated by Dr.Jothydev in his 30 mins long oration.

The highlight of the JPEF CME this time was the exemplary lecture by Dr.Wasim Hanif of Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Birmingham City University, UK who lectured on 'Barriers of individualising diabetes management: current evidences'. In his 45 mins lecture, Dr. Hanif addressed every aspect of management of diabetes with the help of published research data including diabetes management during the holy month of Ramadan.

Dr.Arun Shankar chaired the sessions and gave welcome to the faculty and delegates. The CME session was followed by Open forum. JPEF CMEs are conducted once in every 2 months by Jothydev's Diabetes Research Centre to instil and infuse the newer research findings and better diabetes management tips among doctors and allied health care professionals.
