8^th ADA-PRIMER 2022

The 8^th ADA-PRIMER was conducted at the Hotel Sheraton Grande at Brigade Gateway, Bengaluru from 12 to 14 August 2022. On Friday, 12^th of August, Dr. Jothydev Kesavadev presented his talk on ‘Gen 2.0 Basal-Leveraging Time-In-Range to improve patient outcome’. On Saturday, 13^thof August, he talked about ‘Diabetes and Vaccination- Current status.

8^th DECON 2022

The 8^thInternational Diabetes and Endocrine Conference (DECON) 2022, was hosted as a hybrid event from 5^th to 7^th of August 2022, at Le Méridien Coimbatore. Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev presented his talk entitled ‘Digital innovations to embed patient empowerment’ on 6 August 2022.

The 6^th International Diabetes Experts Consortium (IDEC) was conducted in hybrid mode on 5, 6, and 7 August 2022 at Symbiosis International University Pune. Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev joined the event online as a chairperson for the international plenary session along with Dr.Sujoy Ghosh and Dr.A.G Unnikrishnan. The speakers of the session were Dr.Robert Gabbay, Dr.Christopher Cannon and Dr.Ian De Boer.

Shri.Suresh Gopi gifted a free 780G Insulin Pump to young Nandana

At the function organized at Kesavadev Hall, Trivandrum, renowned Malayalam actor and Ex-Parliamentarian Shri.Suresh Gopi along with his wife Radhika handed over the MinMed 780G insulin pump worth Rs.6 lakhs to a young type 1 warrior, Nandana.and Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev.

Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev embarked on an artistic journey with artist Shri.Prince Thonnakkal. Dr.Jothydev congratulated Dr.Rajiv Kovil, Dr.Amit Shah, and the Rang De Neela project team for integrating diabetes education with contemporary art forms.

RSSDI Diabetes Bytes

Pearls of wisdom on preventing diabetic foot disease in Malayam on RSSDI Diabetes Bytes, an educational initiative for people with diabetes by RSSDI, was conducted online via Facebook live on 29 July 2022, 7:30-8:00 pm. Expert panelists, including Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev, Dr.Chandni R, Dr.G Vijayakumar and Dr.Ajith Kumar, gave practical tips on the importance of foot exams, how to do it, and to seek proper medical attention on time.
