Ingredients
- ¼ cup urad dal
- ¼ cup quinoa flour
- ¼ cup whole wheat flour
- Salt to taste
- ¼ cup ghee or for cooking
Method of Preparation
- Soak the urad dal in enough water for 1 hr. Drain well.
- Blend in a mixer with ½ cup of water to make a smooth paste.
- Combine the remaining ingredients, prepared urad dal paste, ¾ cup of water in a deep bowl, mix well using a whisk.
- Heat a nonstick tava (griddle). Sprinkle water on the tava (griddle) and wipe it off gently using a cloth.pour a ladle full of batter on it and spread it to a thin circle of 150 mm (6’) diameter
- Smear ¼ tsp oil over it and along the edges and cook on high flame till the dosa turns brown from both the sides
- Fold it to make a semicircle or a roll
- Repeat with the remaining batter to make 8 more dosas
- Serve immediately
