 11th Jothydev’s Professional Educational Forum, Annual Global Diabetes Convention 2023

The 11th Jothydev's Professional Education Forum (JPEF) Annual Global Diabetes Convention 2023 was hosted by JPEF in association with P.Kesavadev Trust, IMA Nemom and DiabetesIndia, on 7th, 8th, and 9th July 2023 at Uday Samudra, Kovalam, Trivandrum. The theme of the convention for the year 2023 was "Diabetes Goes Digital".

JPEF 2023 Global Convention was inaugurated by the honourable Finance Minister, Kerala, Sri. K. N Balagopal, along with Minister for Education and Labour, Kerala, Sri. V Sivankutty, in the presence of Dr.B M Makkar (RSSDI President), Dr.Ebarhard Standl (Endocrinologist and researcher Munich University, Germany), Dr.Banshi Saboo (Chief Advisor, JPEF), Dr.A K Das (Chief advisor, JPEF), Dr.V Mohanan Nair (IMA AMS Nemom), Dr.Manojan K. K (Director, SGMC), Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev (Organising secretary), Dr.Arun Shankar (Organising Chairman), Ms.Gopika Krishnan (Chief organiser), and Ms.Sunitha Jothydev (Conference director).

A total of 162 faculty including 10 international faculty, 71 national faculty, and 81 state faculty lectured at the conference on diabetes and related topics. The program was attended by a total of 949 participants.

The CME came to an end on 9th July 2023 at 1:30 PM with a valedictory function.
