JPEF for Dietitans & Diabetes Educators: 1 May 2016
Jothydev’s Professional Education Forum(JPEF) organized a scientific program for dietitians at the Residency Towers on 1st May 2016. Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev lectured on ‘Innovations in Diabetes to Integrate Dietitians’. Ms.Geethu Sanal, Head of the Department of Nutrition, JDC lectured on ‘Various bolus options in pump’ and Ms.Remya Iyer, Senior Dietitian & Incharge Obesity Clinic, JDC on ‘Bolus Wizard in Insulin pump.’
Gopika Krishnan, Academic Head, JDC lectured on ‘Challenges & Troubleshooting with an Insulin pump’. Dr.Arun Shankar chaired the session.
More than 50 dietitians and diabetes educators participated in the program.

JPEF MINI CME, IMA House, Kochi: 14 May 2016
Jothydev’s Professional Education Forum (JPEF) organized a Mini CME at IMA House, Kochi on 14 May 2016. ‘Clinical Practice Guidelines’ was elaborated by Dr.Sheeja Sreenivas, Chief Diabetologist, JDC Kochi.
Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev lectured on ‘Scientific updates from the IDF Congress, 2015’. Dr.Johnny Kannampilly,Consultant Diabetologst, Lakeshore, Kochi chaired both the sessions. Dr.Arun S Menon, Professor and Consultant Endocrinologist, Amrita, Kochi lectured on ‘Understanding CVOTs of gliptins and its implications in the management of T2DM’.
‘Factory calibrated glucose sensor and AGP: introducing the path breaking innovation in diabetes’ was dealt by Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev. The CME also marked the launch of path breaking innovation in diabetes-LibrePro.
Dr.Sreenivasa Kamath, Senior Consultant Physician, Lakshmi Hospital, Kochi chaired the last 2 sessions. More than 80 doctors actively participated.
