     Low compliance to statins in Kerala rural population a study presented at IDF (International Diabetes Federation ) Montreal , Canada from Jothydev’s Diabetes and Research Centre looked into the various causes for patients not continuing statins which has got a proven benefit preventing heart attack.
 
World Diabetes Day (November 14 )
     In Jothydev’s Diabetes And Research Centre, World Diabetes Day is being celebrated with week long program starting on November 14 th 2009.Diabetes education, patients get-togethers, diabetic walk event, free screening, free lunch are all part of the celebrations. The different programmes are seen in pictures. The JDC building is seen lighted in blue signifying the humble involvement with the IDF global campaign.
