DREAMS Type 1 Diabetes Education Program, Kochi

Kesavadev Trust organized the DREAMS (Diabetes Research, Education and Management Support) program at IMA House, Kochi, as part of its ongoing initiative to support individuals with Type 1 diabetes. The program featured interactive sessions, hands-on workshops, and practical training for children, adults, and parents across Kerala.
The event witnessed participation from over 200 individuals, including around 80 children, along with the distribution of essential diabetes care supplies such as insulin and glucometer strips. The program was inaugurated by Dr. Anita Nambiar, President, RSSDI Kerala.
Under the leadership of Dr. Jothydev Kesavadev, sessions were delivered by Dr. Asha Ashik, Dr. Yaseen Unes, Ms. Anjana Basanth, and Ms. Geethu Sanal, focusing on comprehensive diabetes education and management. The initiative emphasized the importance of continuous education, advanced technologies, and structured care in improving outcomes for individuals with Type 1 diabetes.
