February 7, 2009 - Free Camp at Alamcode
Diabscreen Kerala and Kesavadev Trust in association with Palamkonam Residents Association, Alamcode organised a free camp for more than 120 subjects. The tests included blood sugar in fasting, cholesterol, BP, BMI, waist circumference etc. Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev after the 2-hour interactive class on prevention and treatment of diabetes examined all patients and distributed medications. In all such camps patients will be provided a card, which consists of the lab results, medications, advises and directions to meet their local physician for continuation of treatment. Diabscreen Camps never encourage patients to visit Jothydev's Diabetes Centre, since the camps are part of a charity project and not to attract patients to the hospital.
