The ETM-G01 has 3 modes: 'normal', 'prediabetes' and 'diabetes'. When tested at our centre, when the modes were changed the same person had different glucose values. The device is not clinically accurate currently for recommending routine use in diabetes. In another 6 to 12 months time, an upgraded version of this device or other similar devices might probably capture the market.
