Mohanlal the celebrity actor who does not have diabetes has been involved in public education and motivational activities with P.Kesavadev Trust since more than a decade, spreading the message of healthy ageing, prevention of diabetes by promoting physical activity.

Diabetes Kerala 2012, the state wide diabetes public awareness program supported by International Diabetes Federation was launched by Padmasree Mohanlal at Kochi. This massive awareness program will cover 14 districts in 14 days consisting of 14 different events to educate public on diabetes prevention and treatment.
