Blue Breakfast Seminars

'The Blue Breakfast Seminars', an educational initiative for physicians to promote healthy breakfast was launched by Dr. Jothydev Kesavadev at Hilton Garden Inn on 12th Feb 2015 at 7.30 am. The innovative idea conceived by Dr. Jothydev, saw exciting response from physicians. Dr. Jothydev lectured on 'Therapies Addressing Post Prandial Glucose Excursions' and Geethu Sanal, Chief Dietitian, JDC lectured on 'Identifying and Advising Healthy Carbs in Diabetes'. Around 50 practising physicians including Dr. Thomas Titus, Dr. Ramesh Pillai, Dr. Santha Kumari, Dr.Nishad, Dr.Rajalakshmi, Dr. Arun Shankar, Dr. Ashwin David etc. participated. Healthy breakfast recipes were also promoted. Sunitha Jothydev coordinated the event.

The Blue Breakfast Seminars are an educational initiative to spread the message of healthy breakfast, from Jothydev's Professional Education Forum.

Diabscreen Kerala Free Diabetes Camp: Sun Elegance, Mudavanmugal, Poojapura

Free diabetes awareness, screening and detection camp was organised at Sun Elegance in association with P. Kesavadev Trust on 14th February. Free test and consultation were provided to the participants. Welcome was by association secretary and celebrity cine star Poojapura Radhakrishnan and felicitations were by Gopalji. The camp also had educational lectures by Dr. Jothydev Kesavadev, Arun Shankar and Geethu Sanal. Sunitha Jothydev coordinated the camp. Diabetes team participated in the free camp.
