Green Sandwich
Ingredients
1 Bunch Coriander leaves (Cut and discard the bottom stem and Chop)
1 Bunch Mint Leaves ( pluck only the leaves)
1 medium size Cucumber ( peel the skin and chop)
1 small marble size Tamarind
3-4 Green Chillies ( Adjust as per you taste )
Salt to taste
4 slices of whole wheat bread
Method
- In a blender put chopped coriander leaves, mint leaves, cucumber, green chillies, tamarind and salt.
- Add only little water as the moisture in the leaves help them in blending.
- Blend them to a smooth chutney till all the ingredients get well combined.
- Spread a generous amount of the mint chutney on one side of the bread slice and top with other slice of bread and toast in a sandwich maker until done. You can also toast in a pan on the stove top.
