JPEF Mini CME 2019
The first Mini JPEF CME of 2019 was held at Hotel Hilton Garden Inn on 23rd January. The guest speaker of the CME was Dr.Hossam Ghazi from University of Mansoura, Egypt. Other faculties included Dr.Mathew John, Dr.Tiny Nair, Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev and Dr.Arun Shankar. Dr.Hossam spoke on 'Has CVOT influenced diabetes care in Egypt'. Dr.Mathew John lectured on 'Declare: the defining CVOT-design and results final' and Dr.Tiny Nair spoke on 'Heart failure-the broken pump in diabetes mellitus'. Dr.Jothydev lectured on 'Declare the defining CVOT-Safety and clinical implications'. Dr.Tittu Oommen and Dr.Sukesh R.S chaired the sessions. Dr.Arun Shankar presented a case study. Dr.Ashwin David offered vote of thanks and Gopika Krishnan gave welcome. Hari Prasad, Kavitha Vinu, Vidya organised the CME. Ms.Sunitha Jothydev supervised.

Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev was a faculty at the 74th Annual Conference of the Association of Physicians of India organised by API Kochi, Kerala. Dr.Jothydev was part of the Insulin workshop and lectured on Successful insulin treatment: Empowering patients for day-to-day care. Dr.Jothydev also lectured on Closed Loop Pump System - Future Treatment for Diabetes. The convention was held at Grand Hyatt, Bolgatty. Kochi.
