The opening article 'Positive Outcomes with Early Initiation of Insulin Therapy in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus’ was the original research conducted at Jothydev’s Diabetes Research Centre and the results were presented by Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev at AACE 26th Annual Scientific & Clinical Congress conducted at Austin, Texas, USA. The study showed that early insulin initiation in eligible candidates helped the patients to achieve better diabetes control at lower treatment costs.

The other articles include benefits of exposure to cooler temperatures in tackling Type 2 Diabetes, insights into the role of intestinal bacteria in the complex interlink between diet, metabolism and health, protective effects of exercise in reducing the rate of age-associated cognitive decline etc. Our regular updates - Gems picture of the month, Recipe of the month and Drug updates continue.
