We are delighted to announce the launch of KDC (Kesavadev Trust Diabetes Basic Care)
at Murinjapalam Trivandrum – a low cost minimal care facility aimed at unaffordable patients with diabetes. More than 100 subjects underwent free blood sugar, cholesterol, HbA1c and other associated examinations and were provided free medications on the day of inauguration. A study conducted at Jothydev's Diabetes and Research Centre and presented in ADA, USA (American Diabetic Association) proves that high dosage of insulin is required for uncontrolled diabetes subjects who were on glibenclamide ( commonly used sulfonylurea) treatment previously compared to glimepiride.
