This month's video presentation by Dr.Jothydev let out 10 tips for reducing the overall cost of treatment of diabetes.

Recently concluded research results indicate that a brain surgery could be a remedy for certain types of diabetes. More details are available in the 1st article of this issue of Gems.

From now onwards you should be extra careful about your belly tyres. New studies show that it is not just an inert storage deposit as previously considered, but also act as an evil organ with its own set of spurious chemical interactions, which can lead to heart disease, diabetes etc .T2 diabetes patients with high blood pressure or those who are moving slowly are at an increased risk of dementia. The 2nd and 3rd articles throw light respectively on the above mentioned pieces of information.

The chemical mechanism by which omega 3 fatty acids fight diabetes and the benefits of Grape fruit against diabetes by virtue of its bitter taste are posted in the diet part.

A study conducted at Jothydev's Diabetes and Research Centre and presented in ADA, USA (American Diabetic Association) proves that high dosage of insulin is required for uncontrolled diabetes subjects who were on glibenclamide ( commonly used sulfonylurea) treatment previously compared to glimepiride. You can gather more information from the medicine updates.
