This issue of Gems has been delayed a bit to include the much awaited JNC 8 guidelines for high blood pressure and the ADA 2014 Guidelines for management of diabetes. You may also read about memory loss in diabetes, more evidence on low Vitamin D and its association with poor health etc.

At the World Diabetes Congress early this month at Melbourne, Australia, 4 original research papers were presented from Jothydev’s Diabetes Research Centre.
